Sarah Palin plans Roanoke visit
Sarah Palin has planned a Sunday, November 22nd appearance at the Valley View Barnes and Noble to promote her new book, "Going Rogue, An American Life." Palin drew about 16,000 people to a rally in Salem last year when she was running for vice president. The bookstore will pass out wrist bands beginning at 6 a.m. for a noon book signing. Palin's tour starts November 18 at a bookstore in Grand Rapids, Michigan and bypasses places like New York City and Seattle, Washington that make up the usual promotional route. A HarperCollins spokeswoman said the unconventional tour reflects the writer. "Going Rogue" has an announced first printing of 1.5 million copies and has been at or near the top of Amazon.com's best-seller list for weeks.
