Roanoke police are asking for help in finding a runaway teenager. The family of Brittany Lawhorne, 16, reported her missing May 2nd. That's also the day she was last seen--at the Travel Centers of America Truck Stop in Botetourt County. A witness told police that the girl was with a man, possibly a truck driver. The man is described as a black male, approximately 40 years old, five feet eight inches tall and wearing a red shirt.
Police say they have no evidence that Brittany Lawhorne has been the victim of a crime, but they say if you have information about her whereabouts, they'd like you to call them at 540-853-2211.
